Nothing Interesting Lately… Except!

Haven’t really drawn for the past few days, mostly because I was slacking off and living life.

Today Simon and I went to go watch WALL-E! It was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while.

They did a superb job on the animation and visuals. The character designs for the robots were pretty clever and neat too. There were lots of really cute and funny moments here and there. Its sort of a borderline romance/political movie, but came out with a pretty clear message, I think.

I don’t wanna spoil anything so if you havent already…
Go watch it!

Other than that I did some junk on oekaki.

Julie and Minh’s wedding this weekend. I’m really happy for her.
But for some reason I cant get myself to be excited about anything in life right now.

I feel kind of bummed.

Happy 2 years, Simon.

Even though we’re not at our best right now, I’ll love you no matter what. I’ve said alot of stupid things earlier that I didn’t really mean, the words just came out. I’ve been lying to myself and making excuses because I don’t have a good reason for the truth. I’m sorry that I didn’t go today. I wish I could tell you what’s really on my mind.

Even though you probably wont even be reading this, I love you and miss you very much.

I hope things get better from here on.

Today was fun. Went all the way to Judy’s house in Queens to discuss our senior trip/road trip that we’re planning. Justin, Sachin, Manami, Winnie, Jinni, Andy and Holman were there too.We ended up not really discussing much and just ate, played video games, ate and… ate. Oh yeah we also shot videos of Judy and Sachin popping but other than that the laziness felt great. After about hours of laying around and not doing much we went to the Bay to walk around at about 8:00. The weather wasnt too cold and the scenery was really nice. I regret not taking my camera. Someone in the group found a soccerball and we played a little at a court nearby, lol.I also sketched a few oekakis when I got home, though I didn’t really spend more than 10-20 minutes on them.

Most of the oekaki/scribbles I’ve done since the time I left paperbox.
I’m going to die now because 5am and the larger resolution version of this didn’t save.
A new year has started, so uh, I’m gonna try updating this thing everyday with a new drawing.
And I miss Simon already. He’s leaving for camp in an hour or two. :<

Yeah you can kinda tell I didnt spend alot of time on these. The first four were just quick sketches under 10 minutes. Trying to time myself lol. I HATE the 5th picture. His eyes look so weird.
Didnt really commit myself to actually trying yet. Still working on the Alice picture. It sucks so far. I’m screwing alot of things up.

I’m loving todays weather. Its the best. Theres rain, sun, thunder and big big clouds. I took a whole bunch of pictures of the clouds earlier. They were so beautiful today.

Well, school tomorrow. I’m somewhat screwed because I was chilling all weekend and didnt get to accomplish anything. Oh well.
